Learn how to use the present perfect continuous tense in English

Adverbs are words that help describe how or when an action happens. They modify verbs. There are five adverbs that are commonly used with the present perfect tense: ever, never, already, yet, just.

The present perfect continuous tense is similar to the present perfect. It helps us describe actions that started in the past and still continue in the present.
