Learn how to use Adverbs of Frequency in English

An adverb is a type of word that describes a verb, in relation to time, place, or manner. These words usually help us answer “how” questions.

Adverbs of frequency describe the number of times that something happens in a general way. Sometimes these words are definite, like daily, monthly, or weekly. More often, these words are indefinite and people have to assume an estimate of the frequency.
