What language level does the English Communication Course teach?
The English Communication Course is available for students with A1-C2 CEFR levels. After taking our English placement test, you can enroll in the level that fits your language skill level. If you would like to know more about the CEFR levels, you can visit the Council of Europe website which describes each language levels and its associated skills.
How long does it take to complete a CEFR level in the English Communication Course?
Each level in the English Communication Courses teaches objectives to help students progress toward the next level in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The study time is about 16 weeks or an average of 96 hours to complete a CEFR level (for example A2 or B1 level). Some students may progress faster depending on previous experience with the language. With Lingo Best Academy you can join the course for 8 weeks (48 hours) at a time.

Which course can I join after I complete this course?
After completing your course, you can choose to continue in the communication course at an higher level or you can join the English Business Course to strengthen your professional skills at the workplace.
What is the difference between the English Communication and the English Business Course?
Both the English Communication and English Business Courses aim to improve your communication skills, but the areas of focus are different.
The English Communication Course focuses on communication skills for everyday situations. This includes topics about friends, hobbies, health, education, food and drink, shopping, and places where you live or spend time. The lessons cover a broad spectrum of skill objectives from the A1-C2 CEFR ranges. This would be ideal if you plan to take a certification exam.
The English Business Course will help you improve your professional skills for the workplace. This course includes topics about teamwork, meetings, presentations, workplace correspondence, networking, customer service and talking about facts or figures. The lessons cover a targeted spectrum of skill objectives starting from the B1 CEFR range that apply directly to the English Business Course. If you plan to take a certification exam, you should consider taking the English Communication Course as well.
I have never studied English before. Can I join this course?
Yes, you can attend our English Communication Course even without previous knowledge, the course is also suitable for beginners from level A1.1 (CEFR). You can take our placement test to see what your level is and which course you may be prepared to enroll in.
